TeraBox Review - Is TeraBox a Good File Storage Application For Windows?
Terabox is a file storage application that allows users to upload and manage files through a browser portal. The app offers various features to its users, including the ability to store important documents and photos and easy access to recent files. Besides this, the application has a recycle bin that can keep old files for 10 days. With a Premium account, this time frame can be extended to 30 days.
TeraBox offers two tiers: free 1TB of cloud storage with ads, and premium 2TB with no ads. Previously, the company was called Dubox, but it changed its name to TeraBox when it was bought by Flextech Inc. The free version has some limitations, such as a 4GB file upload limit and limited integration with third-party apps.
The free version of TeraBox allows users to back up as many as 5 folders. The free version has some extra options, such as floating icons for uploading files. Additionally, the desktop app has the option to upload files and folders. However, the free version lacks a folder in the navigation pane. However, users can access their backups from other devices with the free version.
TeraBox also offers a desktop application. It is similar to the online version, but has less ads and a notification tray. Unlike the web application, the desktop version offers a folder backup feature. It also offers a drag and drop option for uploading files. Users can also download videos from social media. Users can log in with their Google or Facebook accounts, or through their Apple ID. However, they are not required to enter their credit card details. In addition to the free version, a premium member of TeraBox can also get access to two-gigabyte storage and download channels, super-sized file upload and other features.
